Has Anyone Heard From Admin. About Wrong Dated Checks?

Has anyone been contacted by Admin. about the checks that were dated for August?  Seems they would have issued a statement to those who are holding the wrong dated checks.  Anyone hear an explanation for the top guys

Mine was denied at the bank because it had an August date on it.  There was an error getting some checks out with the wrong date.  Don't think anyone will honor it until that date......sorry

Can't cash it until August 20th.  No one will cash it now with an August date on it.

I just got a $2 apology bonus credited to my account for the post dated checks. Works for me, thanks for being awesome about this FC!!

I saw that $2 Check delay credit and thought, my check wasn't delayed.  Then I looked at the copy I had posted to the Forum for the bonus and sure enough, it was post dated.  Hope it was just an error and that the check wil cash in August.  Bummer, I was going to go shopping with it in a couple of days.

Thank you for posting about this! I just got my first check and it's dated August 20. Was all confused until reading about it here. Will have to wait a few weeks to cash I guess.

Got a $2 error bonus myself.  The check can be cashed in August.  It's still a good check.

Hi everyone -- sorry for the lack of communication about this issue.  When we realized what was up, I figured talk was cheap and an apology with some money behind it would sound better.

Those of you who are holding checks dated August 20th, you'll unfortunately have to wait until then to cash it (although some banks might let it through).  If you manage to cash/deposit it before August 20th, our bank should honor it without any problems.  But no matter what it'll be valid come August 20th.  We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience, and if anyone is in desperate need of the money they should open a support ticket to explore other options (e.g. mailing it back to us, then we can issue payment via PayPal or Direct Deposit).  We appreciate your membership and try to minimize this kind of problem, but unfortunately there is always the human element (in this case, me) which can mess things up
