Out of a golden retriever and labrodor retriever wich one is better? I think the golden retriever is better for hunting because of it's tail. But there both great family pets.

I like labs more just because they are named for a part of Canada. Actually, my brother had one and was a pretty good ole chap.

my parents have one of each, and honestly they are about equal with issues.  I wouldn't own either with the amount of inbreeding at this point.

I don't have a dog yet, but i hear they are both great dogs. I have family members who have both & they r quite happy.
