Our Addiction To Electronics !!!!!!

This Morning My computer My Cell Phone and it seems all electronics were down. Made me think WOW how much we depend on this stuff. What do you think? We forget to do things without them?

I never forget how to do things without them, but do realize they make life easier.
I would't say it is an addiction either.

 :star:seems to be a few things we are simply forgetting about from the use of electronics.  I used to memorize phone numbers now, they are programmed into the phone, no need to remember.  lol

this is true, My Home Computer went down last week, and It made me think about how much I use it, from working at home, to getting news or just looking up random trivia questions that pop up during conversations

Technology is slowly taking over human kind!  Everyone becomes very "non-social" or personal such as talking and meeting with people and now it is all about social sites like facebook etc.  drives me crazy!

I am with you I just recently got a cell phone only because my daughters bought it for me I fight technology all the way but sometimes if you can not win it is better to join  so now I have a cell phone to go along with the computer and all the other gadgets in all our households Hummmm Beam me up Scotty!

Playing board games during a recent power outage by candlelight was very relaxing a couple of weekends back.
It is amazing how many things are done by electronics.

I am addicted to my cell phone, iPod, laptop, social networking sites, radio and TV. I feel 'naked' when I forget and leave my cell phone at home. I originally got a cell phone when I turned 17 and had first started driving, just to have it for emergencies. Now my cell phone holds not only phone numbers but emails, addresses, pictures, music, games and my connection to the rest of the world. In today's society, it's hard to live without these technologies!

I've been in some situations this month where my computer access was limited (as in none for 5 days, etc).  discovered I was ok without it.  the cellphone thing is another story.  there are so few pay phones out there that it's not really safe any more imo to travel without one. (mine doesn't have internet access--it's a phone.)

I rely alot on electronics. When my cell ph died, i had a hard time calling family bcuz i had the ph#s in the ph & don't remember them. Got a new phone & lost all of my calendar entries so gotta try 2 get family birthdays & dr appointments back. Thunder storm knocked out electricity for about 1 hr; was board so i went to sleep.  :-
