about a year ago i was thinking about women who wax body hair off.

i started thinking.... man, that must be painful, but it must work.

then i thought about my earhair.... at 41, this has become a concern for me.

so, i thought about what could i use to remove that earhair (using a wax type system).... those clipper things just dont get it for me.

i came up with...... DUCT TAPE! (another use in the million uses for duct tape) ... after perfecting my idea.... i started getting out hairs that looked like pubic hairs!

i had no idea all that was in my ears.

so, i'm doing my duct tape thing the other night.... and it hit me....

THIS CRAP IS ONLY GOING TO END WHEN I DIE.

so, i have about 35 years or so to look forward to doing my duct tape every couple weeks.

its true..... the first few weeks i could not believe the hairs that must have been growing there for years.

now.... its not so bad... but at the first sign of a hair poking out, i get busy.

its not easy being a  :cat:

glad to know you find me amusing... humor is a very important part of life.

my brother and i are working on a 3d project that is built on our real life experiences.... with some slight modifications of course.

by this time next year, hopefully we'll be up and running.

i was watching my g/f's grandkids running around and thought about life....

the whole unfair deal of it all.

"T-Man" (tyler) is 18 months old.... he wakes up.... his feet hit the ground and he's off like a bolt of lightning.... this little man goes at full throttle... until nap time, then he's at it again.... until bed time.

day after day after day.

he knows NOTHING about life.... the world.... all he seems to think about is "what kinda stuff can i mess up now!"

i'm 42.. have built up 42 years of experience, knowledge... and i need at least 2 cups of coffee when i wake up just to remember my name.

every now and then, i'll run across a young striking beauty... its not often, but sometimes i'll see these young girls... 20 somethings.... and think..... wow.

after that initial "hit upside my head".... i think... what could we possibly have in common? whatever new, hip, cool thing she tried yesterday..... i've done 1000 times already.

so, my g/f started talking about her teen years the other night....

she asked, "remember back in the 80's....."

i smile, nod my head..... "yes, sweetheart, i do..... i do."

This is funny you should mention this.  Last night I came a cross a Radio station that was playing music from the 80's then after 9:00pm they started playing music from the 90's.  G-d did it make me feel old.  LOL

really? i have an intense feeling of pride.

whenever i hear the rebel rocker billy idol.... the scorpions... ac/dc..... the clash..... etc played on the radio.... i feel like grabbing the closest kid around me and screaming in their face!

DO YOU HEAR THAT?! ..... DO YOU HEAR HOW YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHATS BEING SAID!?!?! (for the most part).... WE ROCKED BEFORE YOU AND WE DID IT BETTER!

 ;D x infinity.

and a million of these ------>

i gave up listening to the current "rock" stations.... if its not some *bleep* crying about their feelings.... its "music" (and i use that term loosely) played at a million miles an hour while the "singer" (again loosely) is screaming in the mic.

JLB ~ rebel yell until the day that i die.... and possibly, beyond.
