I am so mad!

I just spent over a HALF HOUR (the longest time I've ever spent on one survey) doing one of the "My Thought Counts" surveys, and I went through the entire thing and watched all the ads and videos and commented on them, and then it was over and was just having me choose the classifying info (my age and race, etc) and then suddenly, it gave me a page that said something about how I didn't qualify because of one of my answers!!!!  WHAT THE?  I answered every single question and read every single detail!  I had finished the whole thing!  There was a link for "technical problems" and "contact us" and of course when I clicked on each of those, it gave me "page cannot be displayed"

I am so sick of wasting my time on these!  It's so convenient that they got an ENTIRE survey out of someone and then had "technical problems" at the end, so they don't have to pay me for it!

i did the same survey and it went fine. credited within a few seconds. i'm not saying that you could not be right as to what happened. i'm just saying that maybe something did go wrong and i treally was a tech error.. i know how you feel tho. i don't quaify for most of the surveys i try... even on a site a do that has 3 daily surveys,. but this one went fine. the one thing that has ever made me the madest with these surveys... don't know if it's ever happened to any of you but i got this message... after doing the survey for i'd say about 12 minutes.... said at the beginning it would take about 15 minutes. so i was almost done... i got an error saying .... sorry but we have reached our quota for this survey. please try another.  omg was i mad lol

How do you know it was the same survey?   are you just saying it was "my thought counts" or were you saying it was the specific survey within "My thought counts"?

Either way...I should clarify that "My Thought Counts" HAS worked for me before.  I'd say I've completed a survey there maybe 5 or 6 times.  I'm not saying it "never" works.

But sometimes I DO get the feeling that they get all the answers they need from us and THEN decide that they've "reached their quota" or "you don't qualify based on your answers" or "you have answered a question that shows you weren't answering honestly"  BLAH!  I think they make that stuff up half the time based on when it decides to stop you!

I know that I'm probably wrong, and I probably just feel that way because I'm upset.  But I think it's totally wrong of a company to have you work on a survey for 30 minutes, finish the important part and then disqualify you after saying you're caucasian, have 5 people in your household, and are 28 years old.  (obviously sometimes they disqualify you for your age, etc in the BEGINNING of a survey, when they're screening for the people they're looking for...but not AFTER you've done the whole thing!)

Anyway,  I think you get what I'm saying....

I only qualified for 2 offers this month and NO surveys. I'm stuck this close to cashout for another month. We really need other things to do not everyone does shopping. The surveys are the same that are on more than enough sites and freebies are so few and far between 

Btw, if I ever qualify for a study it's the same one and I get knocked off 2 minutes into it. So what.. They only have 3 surveys? Why even bother posting them as daily surveys? IMO it's pointless.

There are other sites out there that you may qualify for so keep searching.  As for this site well I think I am doing pretty good so far.   Here is some thing I posted another place on this site and it is good advice for every one to keep in mind



My 10 Steps Program to Be Safe

1 ) Make sure you read every offer completely.

2 ) make sure you read the TOS of every offer. 

3 ) make sure you copy the phone number or email address of every offer.  (As for me for every offer I do I print out the TOS and circle the contact number on each one.)

4 ) Watch your Credit Card

5 ) Watch your Phone Bills

6 ) Clean you’re Cookies after every offer

7 ) Scan your computer ever night for Add wear (some sites may place a tracking cookie on your computer that will give away any personal information you have on your computer such as your bank account or credit card)

8 ) Scan your computer every Night for Spy Wear (some sites may place a tracking cookie on your computer that will give away any personal information you have on your computer such as your bank account or your credit card)

9 ) Run your anti virus at least 3 of 4 times a week to make sure you did not pick up any thing.

10 ) For all of those that have DSL or Cable or any other high speed online connection that your computer is connected to all the time and is online all the time.  Make sure you have a good Fire Wall to protect your self from Hackers.  (Personally I recommend Zone Alarm you can get that at http://www.zonelabs.com)

I had done all  that and just wasted time.      I do not qualify for a lot of them in the beginning stages and that is fine.    But to spend 30 minutes doing a survey and they get all your information and then do that is just not right.     I feel your frustration!

this is true so today I wrote them and made a sejestion that they should remove the offers that do not pay.  I told them about the blog on this site that some one started that shows all the offers that do not pay.  I also asked why they have offers that we have to pay more then the offer pays us.  It makes no sence that we have to lay out more money then the offer is worth.  Were all here to make money.  Well I guess we will se what they do.  They really should keep track though of the offers that do not pay off.

My advice is to expect little from surveys. The cash offers and free trials are more reliable. There are some offers that have not paid yet, but they may still pay.
