I don't like them at all.  Thats why I'm on the do not call list!!  Plus I no longer have a landline I have a magic jack its great!! Best thing since spilt milk!!

As per me, we should be aware of wrong calls and calls which will charge you money. Sale calls are normal. they call and explain abt the product but few calls will charge money on to ur cell bill.

Sales calls generally do not come until we provide our number to some one. Make sure we provide the number legit people so that we avoid by ourselves

  This type of job was my very first job ever.  It didn't take long for the excitement to wear off.  People were so rude and sarcastic.  However, there were some nice people.  I quit soon thereafter.  I don't like the callers calling us at home, but I try to be polite since I was once in their shoes and know what it feels like.[/[/b]color]

It is frustrating from both ends of the phone, Sweetie.  You have a hard job trying to sell to people that are barely hanging onto jobs and cannot afford what it is you are selling.  When we try to tell you we are not interested, the cue card is flipped and yet another line is delivered on what a great deal we will be passing up.  I just hang up.

i have never and never will work in telemarketing because i HATE getting calls from them. i do not need someone to call me to try to sell me something- if i want to buy something i will go to the store, look online, or find your number and call you. i do not need someone to call asking me for donations because if i had the money i would look for something i wanted to donate (and annoying me with calls is just going to make it less likely that i will donate to your cause) and the only thign worse than telemarketers is the bill coollectors that have the wrong number. i get calls for someone else and i say you have the wrong number and the next day i get another call from the same collection agency looking for that person, asking if i know how to get in touch with them. i'm like, seriously, you can't do your job and get ahold of the person that owes you money so you expect me to do it for you? i'm to the point where i am just going to disconnect my house phone because the only calls i ever get on it are this annoying crap. everyone i actually want to talk to calls on my cell

I know they are just trying to do there job, so I try to be nice in say no thank you, But when they keep going on and on I just hang up.

on no call list but still get too many calls try to be polite but have to be firm and say no most of the time.

I absolutely hate sales calls. I don't really get them at home, but we get people calling us all the time at work.

I have done telemarketing before, and it's awful.

I could never do it again. I hate intruding on people's lives and I hate being yelled at.

well everyday my job is to call people and sale our product to them....  i never realized how hard that job was until i was yelled at 5 days in a row.......  omg it is so stressful.....  just started this job!!!!!  people say that it will get easier....  i don't believe them....  and why are people so rude to them?  they have to know we are just doing our job!!!

Sales calls dont bother me too much unless I'm waiting for a personal phone call. With caller ID, I can always choose not to answer.

I realized it is someones job and they are only doing it bc they have to but it drives me crazy to get these calls,  I mean if I want something I will go and track down how to get it!
