I love to cook.  Maybe we should start posting our favorite recipes!  I made some delicious banana bread the other day.  I am more than willing to share!

I cook every night.  My husband works out of town some nights so I try to have dinner for my son and myself even when he is gone.  A Homecooked meal is the best at the end of the day!!  Very comforting!!  I love to have dinner with my family!!  Its a great time to catch up!

I like to cook a lot. Sometime I take a couple of my favorite things and then put them together and see how that tastes. Sometimes it doesn't taste great and I feel like I've wasted my time.

My husband cooked when we first met. He's was from New Orleans & he cooked cajan food. After, he got sick, I took over the cooking & I can't make cajan food but I can cook stew, steak, chicken dishes pretty well. I've cut down on cooking though since my husband had passed but, when I get that cooking craving turned on, you can't stop me.

I try to cook but my daughter is teething and my boyfriend works at night so cooking can sometimes be difficult.

I'm not a fan of cooking and would rather nuke something in the microwave. I cook things once in a while when I get cravings. :) I like to bake though! Haven't baked in a long time.

Yeah I can cook, but for some strange reason I can't bake even when I follow the recipe to a tee.  :dontknow:
I know how that is!  I can't cook, can't bake..can read & follow recipes but I don't know...   I cook for my dogs and they don't complain...most of the time.  (Shadow has so many small kitchen fires and now when she smells something burning, she knows it's probably her food and she'll make a sound like she's really bummed! lol)  I also have a business of fresh baked dog cookies that uses my original recipes and they sell so fast I can't keep up with them.  Several dogs in the neighborhood have looked in my windows or tried to come in the house for some, it's so funny.  Lately though, I've found some gadgets that have helped my cooking.  1.) The Nu Wave oven---portable, lightweight, so much easier to clean my messes out of than the oven, and it has a timer that automatically shuts the oven off (cool!).  It doesn't heat up the kitchen to use and doesn't take alot of space.  I can actually cook with this!  2.) The GT Express, it's so portable I throw this in my tote and take it to work to make hot sandwiches, wraps, pizza, etc for lunch.  Just about everything cooks in about 7 minutes and I haven't burned anything in it yet, I use it at least once a day and it's super easy to clean.  (Alot of people are selling these cheap on Ebay because when you buy one from the infomercial, you get a second one free so they sell it.)---just don't try making brownies in it (the instructions don't say you can) just don't even try! ::)

LOL...Congratulations on your dog cookie business...Awww, I wish I had my own business, but I would make cookies for humans, LOL....Nu wave oven huh? Sounds like just what I need. I don't know if it will improve my baking skill's though, lol. Thanks for the info.

i cook at least once a day! my husband leaves to work at 4am but i wake up with him and make him coffee and toast before he leaves. then i make breakfast for the kids when they wake up. even if they just want cold cereal, i still make them something to with it, like fruit juice smoothies or a bowl of fruit. for lunch we keep it simple, sandwiches etc. when my husband gets home at 2pm. then for dinner at 6pm, i make a full meal: chicken/pork/beef entree, a side (potaotes or rice) a veg and bread/rolls/etc. i also bake at least 3 times a week making cookies, cakes pies or cobblers to have for dessert. every once in awhile i won't have to make a full meal because my husband will grill shrimp/steaks etc but i still make the side dishes

I can cook, but don't like cooking unless its something I really want to eat.  I cook as less as possible.  Baking  is easy and when I do bake I prefer from scratch instead of out of a box.

My grandparents and my parents were chefs! but I can't even follow the receitps!I am a big shame to them! :P so I don't cook and I tried but no one liked my cooking. But the good point is that I am slimmer than them because I don't know how to cook so much delicious food to get myself full every meal!LOL ;D

Yes, I cook and bake. I love home cooking because I know the ingredients and I can make the recipe the way I like it.
