how often do you see your parents?

I agree with you even though honestly I never really thought of it like that, However I talk to my Dad
atleast once week weather by phone or text because he lives in a different city than I do and I usually talk to my mom about twice a week and she usually calls me but I think I'll call her more thanks

That's really nice gallerygoo, I also never realized how hard it is to be a parent until now. It's a really big responsibility and a lifetime commitment to our children, no matter what happens will still love and nourish them, I know most of our parents had a hard time on us and they still tried to give everything to us we just didn't realize that it's really hard we never even thought of putting ourselves to their shoes despite we fight back and make things worser for them. I wish all of us could love our parents the same way they sacrificed and loved us..

I see my mom usually every Friday night. I see my dad every oter week on a regular basis but I also see them on Birthdays and Christmas and Thanskgiving...etc...

I don't get to see my parents as often as I would like.  They live only 3 hours away but I work every other weekend and time becomes hard to get away.  We have grandkids nearby and far away too so we have to travel to see them.

I do talk to Mom every week.  Dad may join us on the line, but not always.

I live with my dad so I see him all the time, but my mom lives in Texas and I live in Ohio, so I don't get to see her very often. I've  got to see her twice this year

My dad died in 1976 and my mother died in 1988.   I wish technology had been as advance then as now because we were separated by great distances and phone calls were very expensive but we were still close and I miss them every day.  I have always made it a point to drop everything when my grandkids call and want something because my time with them is so precious.

Well I don't see my dad that much since he lives in Florida and I live in Pennsylvania, but my mother I see everyday since she's living with me right now. She was living in Puerto Rico for about two years. Now she's come back to Pennsylvania to stay. I love that because I missed her so much. She's just crashing at my place until she can find a place of her own.

I do love my dad so much and i miss him but i never got the chance to show it to him cause i was only 10 when he died of stroke..i feel lucky for those who's dad is still alive. Let's not waste time fighting with them or ignoring them, lets say how much we love them while there's still time

I haven't seen my parents in almost a year.  I just moved to Florida from Wisconsin and have been getting settled so I haven't had time to get back home.  I'll be seeing them for Christmas along with the rest of my family.  But I do talk to 1 of my sisters about 4 times a week and to my mom about 4 times a month.

i see my parents everyday on the weekdays but not usually on the weekends coz i'm at home doing whatever.

I see my dad everyday. We work together. I see mom about once a week at the Legion where we have family meals together. And she keeps the baby for a couple hours once a week so I can have time with my step son alone. It helps our relationship.

I see my parents about once a week, and usually talk to my mom a few times a week on the phone and talk to my dad via text. I love living close to them.

WOW...this post is great...it also shows that I need to at least call my mom more often lol, we live several states away...so we only see each other a few times a year
