Every few years.   ;)  I used to be a fanatic about cleaning, but at my age, I have decided that it just has to be done again and I don't want to spend the rest of my life cleaning.  I just keep my house neat, and I clean when needed.  I began to downsize years ago, so it's not so difficult now.
