How do you lose weight?

Leading up to my vacation I decided to get in better shape, dreading a trip involving swim wear. I think I just googled some quick solutions and began to stick with a picky diet.. no saturated fat, no white flour, no refined sugars, cut back on the dairy, and focus on eating wheat/whole grain, vegetables, fruits, and lean meats. I was strapped on money so when I went grocery shopping I'd pick up salad items, apples, tuna, and fruits. Fresh pineapple is amazing, btw. I'd get whole wheat pasta and mix in tuna and spaghetti sauce. It's a very quick and cheap meal to make. My body has always taken carbs pretty well though.

Just eating meals like that, and several fresh fruit throughout the day, and drinking ONLY water.. I dropped 5 pounds in a week. That's without exercise. The next week I focused on adding exercise and walking more and within 2 weeks I noticed a difference. I didn't have that extra bloating feeling in my stomach like when I eat fatty foods. I felt much better about myself, my roommate noticed a difference, etc. I was less tired and had more energy too. I saw mild toning too in my legs, butt, and stomach. I was probably walking maybe only 3-5 miles, 3 times a week. (That's BIG for someone who hadn't exercised in 5 years...)

Being on vacation has haulted all my good work, but once I'm back home I plan to resume my efforts. :) I wore a swim suit for the first time in probably 13 years and I felt great. Pale, but great!

For beginners - just drink water first thing when you wake up, and a glass of water 5m before each meal. You'll feel more full and eat less. Good luck if you're dieting!

diet and nuff nuff nuff nuff nuff exercise and a little sexrcise lol.......get upp off that fat *bleep* of your and give me 20 pull ups...yep it works.

i lost 15 pounds scene May all i did was COMPLETELY  give up sugar and white breads  and walk at night for 30 min  super easy !!!!

I've lost 32 lbs in three months by changing my eating habits and walking one half hour a day, six days a week.
