Do you believe in Karma?

I used to follow religion and faith growing up. Whenever something terrible happened I'd tell myself that was perhaps planned and I can't change it, I can only learn from it, etc. This wouldn't necessarily make the future brighter to look forward to. I like believing in the light at the end of the tunnel. To me, the idea of Heaven is a tunnel too far away.

As I got older I started believing more in this thing called "karma". To me, it was the only belief that kept me sane when I felt my world was falling apart. It was comforting to believe that the hell I was going through would result in something great. I just had to be patient and endure whatever was thrown at me. The more obstacles I faced, and the harder everything became, the more I looked forward to making it through just to see what good waited.

But, I don't believe in karma like a religion. If something good happens to me, in a time I felt I needed it, I don't assume it's because I went through so much prior. I'm just grateful. To me, karma is the reassurance that life gets better. Karma is the light at the end of a tunnel, but I pass through that tunnel frequently.

I have my examples in life where I felt believing in karma helped me out. But what about you?

Yes I do believe in karma I believe that what you give out to the world good or bad can come back to you and that there is good energy and bad energy, and that if we live a life of cruelty or a life of negativity then that karma will always be around us unless we change, or learn to undrestand and face our mistakes in life, and become a better person and live life in the light of goodness. I know that might seem a bit to sappy but I believe its true.

I don't think that's sappy at all. It's like.. when you go out and you're in a good mood, you affect the people around you. One smile can make others smile. A laugh can make others laugh. It's a positive cycle. No one wants to work next to some one who's complaining, always negative, etc because their negativity can bring people down.

Yes I do I beleive if u do something to someone or they to u, it going to come back to u one way or another. Good or bad.

I have always believed in Karma.  It has made me a better person for it too. I enjoy life for the most part, and those who have hurt me or someone else in the past I feel good knowing that karma will get them in the end one way or another.  If you're a good person and act also for the good of others karma is great! But if you are selfish and unkind karma will not be nice to you.

I absolutely do believe in karma. I think sometimes karma comes into play when you least expect it as well!

This reminds me of the saying "what goes around comes around"  This can mean good or bad results.  There is some truth to this.

Yes I do.  Every action has a reaction positive or negative.  Bad things happen to good people.  There can be no good without evil, light without dark.  Everything is a cycle so goes the saying what goes around comes around.

I tell you what, there is no such thing as kharma but better, sometimes consequences for our actions. I do know for a fact, the Lord watches over us, or our actions could make even more consequences sometimes, it is best to learn from our mistakes, and try to be better people for it, rather than say, oh it is kharma and that is what happens, The Lord teaches us to be more like Jesus, we are here to help people, to be better people, and give, not always take.

  I definatly believe in kharma. Like most of you are saying, there is good and evil. Right and wrong. what comes around goes around.
