I just got fired today from my job as a waitress. I really loved my job, and I feel as though I did nothing wrong.. however the manager said I wasn't improving with the training they gave me.. ugh but whatever i know its because i just broke the news to them i am pregnant . So I'm just ****** out of a job. So now more fusion cash. yay.

Sorry to hear that, I wish you the best of luck.  I know it's tough and it sucks that some employers still discriminate against a women that is pregnant.  Not to mention that the economy is down the tubes.  But atleast you have FC to help make some CASH!

WOW if you think you can fight this you should. A settlement from firing you being pregnant would be a chunk of change. Otherwise im sorry for the loose of your job.

I am SOOOOO sorry.  It sucks how much discrimination is in this world.. Do your best to hang in there and I hope that God/fate/fortune (whichever you believe if any) smiles upon you and helps you through this time. and if none of those I think it's safe to say that you have us here at FC to help support you emotionally and whatnot along with your family and friends

  Most businesses don't discriminate like that, but a company I worked for one time did that to me as well.  I was up for a promotion and they rescinded their decision and gave it to someone else.  They denied it but it was mighty obvious with the timing.  That hurts!  I wish you the best and you hang in there!!!

Im sorry to hear that you got fired. I still feel that my last job fired me for the same reasons, and I still feel that I belong there everyday! Oh well Thanks for fusion cash, at least its there to pick up some of the slack-Eh??

Sorry to hear about this! You're not alone, though! After my son was born I got demoted for not being able to work nights (i was a day shift supervisor, and they wanted me to start closing). I lost about $4 an hour in pay....and had to start working 6 days to make ends meet. It all worked out in the end though......I found something much better! Hang in there!

I understand you completely. I lost my job about 2 months ago. They claim it was based on my work. We have been slow in our department. They wouldn't even let me go to a different one. So they found a way to get rid of me. Other people from department believe that the manager had it out for me. She has first 3 people since she has been there. It has only been 3 years. Pattern, I think so.
