How many people have had their wisdom teeth removed?? If so, how old were you when you did?

Believe it or not, me and my younger sister are the only one's in our family that haven't developed wisdom teeth (yet). I'm in my late twenties and my sister is in her mid twenties...I don't even feel them coming in or anything. I just hope to God that I never develop any or else my teeth will get pushed out of line. There's hardly any room in my mouth now.  :dontknow:

i think i was in my thirties....was in the army and my company was going to the field. it was muddy and raining and i didnt want to go, so i elected to have my wisdom teeth removed. they had to cut them out and stitch up my gums. i got infected and it was awful :crybaby2:
i would rather have gone to the field and played in the mud!

I got my top wisdom teeth out when I was 23. I just got my bottom ones out about a year ago. They were completely sideways. The place I went puts you under anesthesia when you get your wisdom teeth out so it was a great experience, especially since I didn't know what happened!

I only had 3 wisdom teeth and I had them pulled out ( OUCH!!!!) when I was around 24.   My son just had all 4 of his cut out about 3 months ago at the age of 26.

I had mine out when I was about 27.  They weren't bothering me too much they'd pop up once in a while and give me a little pain then disappear for a bit then come back again.I had a hard time with them my chin was numb for the longest time I was so scared I had permanent nerve damage and I developed an allergy to penicillin where I wasn't allergic before because I was taking this medication to prevent infection.  It's better to have them out then you are younger, less problems.
