:cat:   I really prefer at the stores, but since moving to the country where stores are scarce  :-, I'm finding that internet shopping is the most convenient.  But I will never give up on the stores - I will make a special trip for things I really want to look at before buying!

I love to browse at stores, and look for good deals...
but mostly I like to order things online. I feel like I can usually find a better deal.

It depends...sometimes you get better deals at stores, and you don't have to pay for shipping...
HOWEVER, I like online shopping because it's more convenient, and less time consuming, plus...I don't
get distracted by other items in the store...

I agree. It depends. If I know exactly what I want, I prefer shopping online. Otherwise, I prefer going to the store.

I will shop any way. I love to shop.  My favorite though is probably at the store because I can see things up close to know what I am really getting.

I prefer to go to the stores, it gets me out of the house, but I have shopped on line.  It just doesn't seem to be as fun.

It depends on what I am looking for.  But mostly I do my shopping online.  I have found that I can find better deals online than in some of the stores.

I preferr all of the above, but if I just had to pick just one shopping methed I guess it would be in store shopping because you can view the items up close and persional before you buy. :D

It depends on what im looking for materialistic wise. Food always bought at the store. But sometimes websites offer valuable savings if bought online VS a store.

Depends on what I'm buying.

Food is always in the local grocery stores.  Prefer selecting my own items, particularly fresh produce.  I'm also a comparison shopper and look for sales items and often end up with the store brand.

Clothing - will do all 3, but I prefer the local store to see the selection and try it on.  Also easier to return when I'm buying for someone else.

Electronics -- have had good luck getting replacement TV remotes online; have used Amazon for some items - fast delivery and easy return policy.  Will use online to get a handle on what available and pricing.

Big ticket items: will use online for information and pricing and then eithor buy in a local store or online depending on how things turn out.   If I think there might be a need to return the item or complain, I'll go with the local store.

I've purchased several items online that had to be returned.  The return policy of many online stores can be onerous  and many have a restocking fee (15% is average) so I check out the return policies before I buy anything.  (There are also many scam sales programs where returning stuff for credit is impossible because you can't get thru to their 800 number. Buyer beware!)
