I went out to lok for a used car I have needed one for about 8 months now and YAY we got it. We went out to eat we had some awesome Thai food "spicy fried rice/chicken" that stuff is the bomb and we make milk shakes at home and watched tv wt the fam

I took the day off and watched a war movies marathon on AMC. it was great. One of my favorite films was on it. "The Enemy Below".

we went out to eat at Big Boys and then went to lake huron, it was a good day..

I took care of my son's doggies while he went on vacation and then just hung around the house. awesome!

I went over to my folks home for the weekend... They have a lake home on one of the 10K lakes here in Minnesota. On Saturday, I helped Dad get the boat in the water for the first time this season. I guess we had a little help from Murphy as well cuz he imposed a couple of his laws in the process  We had just finished backing the boat trailer into the water and got the boat tied to the dock when the first problem hit. My dad was trying to drive the SUV back up the launch ramp, but only the rear tire would spin with no traction in the loose sand. Tried to put it in 4-wheel drive so that the front tires could pull everything out, but again, only the one rear wheel spun; the front tires doing nothing. To make matters worse, my dad tried backing up a little to "rock" the SUV out of the sand like we'd do if the car was stuck in snow during the winter, but not only did "rocking" not work, but the exhaust pipe was now submerged. At least the exhaust was strong enough that the water didn't completely cut-off the exhaust. However, it meant that we had to keep the engine running while we called up AAA to get us towed out of the lake.     

We finally got the SUV towed out and we went back to the boat, where our spirits sunk once again (pun intended)  . I guess my dad had forgotten to screw in the drainage cap on the boat, so while we were focusing on the SUV, the boat was slowly filling up with water  At least that was a little easier to handle; Dad just screwed in the cap and we just bailed the water out of the boat. Needless to say, when that was all finished, my dad just wanted to drive the boat to our dock and raise it up on the boat hoist to allow the remaining water to drain out and the boat to dry up before actually taking it out for a cruise.

So instead of being able to go out on the boat on Sat. when it was sunny and hot, we took a short ride on Sun. when the weather became cloudy, sprinkling, and a good 15-20 degrees cooler. Next year I hope Dad doesn't invite Murphy and his law to join us

I ran the BolderBoulder with my sisters, took a nap and had a BBQ with my parents.

I trimmed some trees but where I live it was 89 deg. and humidity was 78 percent;. Only could stand it for 15 min at a time. Guess I am too used to air conditioning

I had my first day of work which was also the worst day of my life. >_< I worked from 9:30 in the morning to 7:30 at night, and the only break I got was at 6. That's right, no lunch. The girl next to me said that this happened every day and I'd just have to get used to my stomach hurting. I also had to deal with lots of angry people when it wasn't my fault, and no one taught me how to work the register even though it was "on the job training" so I had to try to figure it out myself, which resulted in me messing up so bad they had to have two administrative officers come down to try and fix it.

We set up our small pool which of course had a whole in it, and spent the whole day trying to patch it, also we watched my son roll on the ground ten times playing badmitton, he thinks it is a ground sport. We also played horseshoes, bbqed, and played game reminiscing.

I didn't do anything just sat home and watched a movie call UP with my son.    Then I took him down my parents house later on to spend the whole summer with them.  Now I'm child free.

Went to Cedar Point on Sunday and Monday-lots of fun!

I had to work, but my son and his girlfriend had arrived the day before, so that was sweeeet!
