I guess you are not including professional athletics. And don't forget outside work. Park ranger at Yosemite or life guard in Hawaii ? It isn't always about money. Some jobs can just be fun. Perhaps working with animals or writing movie reviews ?

I would love to do something with animals.  I'm a nuclear medicine tech and I run a cardiology office, though.  It's a good job, but my dream was always something with animals.....

The best job for me is what I do now...work full time from home and not have to work for a boss anymore!

The best or most interesting job to have is the one that you love and enjoy everyday.  It has nothing to do with how much the job pay, but about how you feel about the job and how you perform on a daily basis and the satisfaction of how you feel at the end of the day.
