2 - one for speeding many moons ago (65 in a 55 highway).  The irony was one year later the speed limit on that same highway was changed to 65!

4.  One speeding and 3 seat belt.  Crazy, i'm only 25....i now wear my seat belt.

I have done very well with the moving violations I have been driving for 18 yrs and I have only gotten 2 tickets that were moving violations.  I have had a couple tickets for really stupid stuff like an air freshener hanging from my mirror and I got one ticket for parking in a handicapped stall at the mall when the mall was closed.  I would never park there when someone who truely needs it may come along but at 11:00 at night when the mall was closed for me to get a ticket was ridiculous.  By the way that was also the ONE AND ONLY time I was in jail (well a holding cell) and that was for not paying the ticket.  But it has been 16 yrs since I have gotten a ticker

I've actually never gotten one. I've been pulled over once and all they did was tell me my tail light was out, but that's it. Amazing that I haven't, because the police in my city are asses. They mostly like to pick on teenage boys though, and I'm a girl.

 I have not received any driving tickets, thats probaly cause I dont drive , but I would like too learn one day

I went a long time with no tickets...not so much as a warning! Then one summer I got popped 3 TIMES on the same road for speeding! In my defense it was a speed trap where it dropped frm 55 to 35 wth no warning. But to top it off I got a ticket for failure to change my address on my license and reg along with one of the speeding ticks

I'm a commercial driver so therefore I drive more than the rest of you and get more tickets.  I happen to have a copy of my driving record and it shows 7 tickets in the last 10 years.  City and county governments use the speed limit laws to generate revenue so they write more tickets to get more cash from the citizenry.

My last speeding ticket was 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. It was a clear sunny day on a straight road with no traffic.  The road conditions could have easily supported a 45 mph speed limit, but the speed was artificially lowered solely for the purpose of revenue generation.  As a CDL license holder I am no longer allowed to freely elect the traffic school option to remove the points from my driving record.  I would have had to go to court and ask for this to be granted to me.  I did explore the idea of hiring a lawyer to fight this ticket, but the cost was twice what the fine was.   In the end I just paid the fine and have 3 points on my license which gives my insurance company an excuse to charge me more money to insure my vehicles.  This also gives a prospective employer the excuse to not hire me in favor of picking from the sea of drivers unemployed that have zero points on their license.

Thank you government.  Your quest for more revenue has infringed on my liberty.  Perhaps, if you had cut back on services when the economy contracted you wouldn't have had to confiscate more money and more liberty from me.

Yeah, 4. I hate it too. It seemed like I would get 2 in the same year that I would get a ticket. Been driving 29 years.
