Hi there this is what I do.

On your keyboard you have a button that says "PRINT SCREEN/SysRq" hit that when you are on the page you want to get the screen shot of. Then open "PAINT" and paste it there using your keyboard shortcuts. CTRL and V to paste. On paint you can crop/cut anything you don't want in your shot or you can resize it

:) hope that helps

how to take screen shot??
Also, there is a very COOL program called JARTE. It is free! It is downloadable from the web. it has a SCREEN SHOT FEATURE that will let you 'capture'  :o all or any part of a screen shot. Once you click on 'capture image' the program minimizes and you get a little 'cross hair' you can start at any SPOT on your screen and 'drag' a selection as BIG or SMALL portion of any area of the screen...once you let go of your 'mouse' the cross hair disappears and you go back to a BLANK page in JARTE and PASTE what the 'cross hairs' selected.   :bunny:The other cool thing is that there is a 'history' where you can keep all your screen captures or some of your screen captures to edit, use or even COPY AND PASTE INTO OTHER PROGRAMS like Word, Paint, even PowerPoint.   :bunny: It is better that 'print screen' because  :binkybaby: you control how much of the screen you want to capture and save/edit.  ::) Check it out. Even though there are fancier and perhaps better options...its so handy and the learning curve is nil, so you don't have to be a total Wozniac to work it.  ;D  ;D You can save your screen shots as JPEG, TIFF, GIF or JARTE file.  :peace:

My favorite free one is http://JingProject.com and for only a $14.95 annual payment it gets better!

They even let you store your captures in one click to show online like the link above.
