You are right. But it seem like anything that man do is wrong. Nobody wants to put the blame on MR. BUSH. They should have made him fix everything that is going on. In make him pay.

That's exactly why things will never change, because everyone has a preconcieved notion of how "the president" should do for them As individuals, not as a nation. President Obama tries to handle things diversly, and more people these days just wake up on the negative side of the bed and jump on the "i dislike Obama" bandwagon, because everyonelse is doing it.

You know what, why dont all of you that dislike him try putting yourself in his shoes, and see how fast you get things done in the white house. You try waking up in the morning to hear of another oil spill in the gulf, along with many lengthy lists of situations to take care of, and see how quickly YOU handle it, and satisfy everyone. I don't care who is president, that crap ain't easy to deal with.  But apparently there are several politicians and comentators out there that just think they could do better.  I guarantee you, any of those folks would crack undere the pressure, and as far as I am concerned the president hasn't cracked yet! I know some people outhere are just waiting for something to take him out of office, and thats f-ing sad man!

He has nothing against anyone, yet he is blamed for everything. Sucess will not happen overnight, folks. You have to ask yourself this...Do I have a legitimate reason why I don't like Pres. Obama, or am I just going off of what others think about him? I guess my point is that way too many people are setting themselves up to fail in this country by not being open minded for change. And if you are closed minded to begin with, then what's the point?  If you can't come together and agree on plans that will benefit everyone, WHATS THE POINT????
Notice that I didnt use the words Republican or Democrat, or Liberal, ect, because the truth is that from the begining of his presidency, all sides had preconcieved notions of what would happen if he was elected, and even today, they can't wait to jump on the bad press band wagon!!  You know what-WE as a nation conjoured up this "lets blame President Bush" bullcrap, WE DID!!! President Obama has NOT done anything to push this Issue. Now other members of congress, those happy little politicians out there, the media, talk shows, ect- You cant tell me that hasn't shaped your opinion about what's going on these days.

I'm sick of it, its stupid and petty and nothing gets done this way.  I guess what I am trying to say is Grow UP people!!! What exactly is everyone  affraid of???  No one has let him breathe since he took office, let alone even just be a family man-that is criticized too!! Bull##%%$%!!!! I just don't understand how people can be so closed minded about our new president. Maybe that's something personal that each of you have to deal with inside yourself, is it really your dislike for him, or something more????????

So i guess America is just going to stay in a sesspool of the negative, because certain folks don't agree with what the  President has done so far????? If people keep acting this way, we might as well just all give up, OR people could just shut up and  honestly put themselfes into getting over creative differences in this country and make things happen for the better.

Give him a freakin chance people, and I'm not begging you to do this- OH NO, I don't beg, you can do whatever you want-after all, we all have freedom of choice and speech-don't we?

Thats all Ive got to say-go ahead and post the 1000000  negative political, social, governmental, millitary, ect lists  or reasons why you don't like the president. OH,  Its just going to make things SOO MUCH BETTER in AMERICA to do that.

I could not have said it any better..I give Obama serious props being President is not easy and I think all the complainers and whiners of all presidents would see that it is a tough job to run a country *bleep* most people cannot handle their own lifes

Okay, what is it exactly that is better...? more troops in the war... worsenring economy... what's better exactly? The wrongs that Bush did was ENFORCED by Obama not discouraged.. he embraced the bad policy, the patriot act, the military commissions act... what has he done to 'change'? Those who think Bush did all the bad things have short term memory, even Clinton was bombing places in IRAQ and had wars going on, assassinations etc. Then there was Bush Sr, Reagan.. Carter.. Nixon etc. Tons of bad presidents all with the same agenda
Quote
I am SO tired of the same old excuse that it is Bush's fault! Every single president who comes into office has his predecessor's 'mess' to clean up! The funny thing is, Obama is not doing things much differently at all than Bush did before him. He has yet to step up and do all the things he touted, other than slamming the ridicululous Healthcare Reform bill through in a way that bordered on illegal, and if you do some checking, his policies as far as the war, economics, and many other things are running the same way they were BEFORE he came in. As far as "Bush and his corporate friends", give me a break. The Democrats were largely behing the bailout, FannieMae/FreddieMac debacles, ACORN funding, and an entire host of other things that aided greatly in 'putting the mess on the table' we have now.

It has nothing to do with the color of his skin and that argument has fully run it's course also. How can you even say that when going into this, the entire premise of his campaign, the people backing him, and a large part of why he won was finally having a person of color sitting in The Oval Office?  angry7  No, I do not happen to be a right-wing Republican, but I am damn angry.
Edited to add: If the color of his skin is causing people to have the view "he can't do anything right", why are so many people who aren't caucasian that voted for him now coming out against him and saying they wish they would NOT have voted for him? That point/argument makes no sense to me.
You don't become the president of the united states because you are a caring, loving, honest man... You get there because you are the most 'pliable'. People put far too much credit for the position of president, he is often just doing as told. Just pretending to take control. They hired him for one reason only, he is a good speaker and can read teleprompters fluently unlike Bush who botched up every speaking engagement. Obama has been well trained in 'saying what you want to hear' like all those books 'how to get ahead' etc. He is a debate and public speaking expert, that's all he needs to be.. The policy is set behind closed doors at the G8 G20, bilderberg, CFR meetings etc.

The only time Obama can do his own thing is when he is flying out to have beer with a cop etc. Or saying "I am disappointed" etc. He just  jumps at the photo ops when there is opportunity to show his "human" side, when in fact he is doing nothing behind the scenes to make it any better for the people, only for big business

I voted for Obama. In fact, I even volunteered with the Obama campaign.
Personally, I don't feel disappointed at all in the job he's doing. Obama isn't a magic pill to fix the country, and we shouldn't expect him to be.
My main reasons for supporting him were that I thought he was the much more likely candidate for repealing DADT, and reforming healthcare.
Now with the healthcare reform fiasco behind us, congress has started taking the first steps toward the repeal of DADT.

Anyone who has been following the progress on the Obamameter would know he has been honest in many of his campaign promises:

Promise Kept 113

Compromise 34

Promise Broken 19

Stalled 82

 In the Works 253

Where is this?  Who wrote up this "Obameter" or whatever-which side?  Are the actual "promises" itemized?  You know that 84% of statistics are just made up on the spot ;)  LOL!  I'd like to see what they have to say anyway!

Nah, its 64.5% of all statistics man. Straight from the Bureau of Useless Statistics.
