I never heard of swallowing gum on purpose.  It cannot be good for you and you may be asking for trouble.

I maybe swallowed it (by accident) when I was a kid lol....I would never swallow my gum! What is the reason for swallowing it?? lol

but i always spit it out, or stick it in on something
that i'm gonna throw away once i'm near a trash can.

i stuck it under a cafeteria table in highschool once,
and then thought about it all day. the guilt was
haunting
