For those of you who have HBO, I recommend The Pacific mini-series as well as Treme.  The music on Treme is wonderful.

I pay about $13 a month for HBO.  It is well worth the money.  The programming is excellent.   Treme is about life in New Orleans after Katrina.  They are using real New Orleans musicians and the music is really good.

I worked a deal with comcast that we got our HBO for free. Of course, knowing comcast, they probably stuck it to us some where else. (LOL)

Have not watched either of thos shows. will be getting hbo soon, love the show true blood it is awesome. based off the sookie stackhouse series books. they are a good read
