Unemployed -- is there any hope left?

I havent been employeed since Dec of 2006. We were doing okay so I stayed home and I am currently in the process of getting my bachelors degree. But Getting a job can no longer wait til I get out of school. I have been looking for a part time job. I have filled out applications for anything and everything. I have had 3 calls for interviews. One for a carnival, one for cleaning apartments and now one for cooking at a ocunty jail.

I have the interview friday for the cooking job. I believe there  is still hope. I know one day ill find a job. Its just matter of being what the employeer is looking for.

Oh wow. I'm sorry. You know, readin about all these people being unemplyed makes me feel bad.  I was just whining about how i need a job just a few hours ago.  I live with my parents who provide everything for me.  My need for money is very materialistic.  That's it.  There are people out there who have families that need to be supported, and I need a job because I want to go on a shopping spree??  How messed up is that. Anyways, keep on trying.  You'll find something soon.

It's really tough out there.  It is hard to find good jobs that pay a living wage.  More and more companies are not offering health benefits either.
