Pet Peeves
« on: March 22, 2010, 01:32:45 pm »
I'm sure we all have many of these, but one of mine is the fact that people always seem to be walking with their heads down.  Another is that sometimes I'll walk by people I know and they don't even seem to recognize me....anyone else feel the same way? I mean, granted, I've miss people too occasionally when I walk pass them, but what can be so cool about looking at the ground? Can't people just be friendly/genuine?

i can't stand it when my husband makes a sandwich and leaves mayonnaise-coated knife on the counter.  I've tried to explain to him about salmonella poisoning, but he doesn't seem to get it! :BangHead:

my biggest pet peeve is when you go into a store or something and the person is just rude for no reason.  On the other hand I hate people that go in to the same store and are just rude to the employees for no reason.

It pays to look down when you're walking so you can pick up money on the street I know I do.   I find pennies on the street all the time, ask me if I don't pick every last one of them up.  One of my pet peeves is couples that dress alike.  For some reason that annoys the heck out of me.  I don't think it's cute.

Sometimes I walk with my head down! Tons of people say it reflects on lack of confidence, which is funny because I'm the most outgoing person I've ever come across. I secretly think I'm just afraid of tripping since I can be clumsy.  :confused1:

My pet peeve is currently that yogurt commercial where the girl drinks the yogurt and you can hear her slurping. Makes me cringe everytime...So gross!

You know how some people get the tinkling feeling down their spine when someone scratches their nails across a chalk board?? Well I get that same feeling when people scratch silverware against their teeth. OMG does that just freak me out.

I hate that too.  I also hate it when people hold their forks backwards.  For some reason that is just annoying as heck to me.

Those people out there who feel that the world "owes" them something... and people commenting on political issues that I am certain they do not have a complete understanding of (health care bill anyone?  how could we NOT do something...)
