I completed the stamps.com offer last week. Not only did it not credit, but they immediately charged my credit card, costing me a $30 over limit fee. Be warned the 4 week trial is not true.

I know that the admin will probably chime in here sooner or later, but the following is listed in the rules...

"Respect our advertisers
Do not discuss cancellation or post disparaging remarks"

Sorry, I'm new to this. I didn't mean to break a rule. I was actually trying to report the issue to a staff member.

I'm pretty sure it's okay to warn others about offers. (As long as there's no cancellation talk, etc.) That's the benefit of reading these forums. I know there's tons of threads about stamps.com previous to your post.
I guess I am in the minority with this offer. It credited for me and I did receive a 4 week free trial (they initially put a hold on my cc but that was released after about 5 days). And I've kept the service now 2 extra months. I think it's a nifty thing! Just my 2cents though.
HTH!

It probably credited for you because you became a paying member. It seems like all the people who choose not to continue using their service never get credited.

Nope, it credited to my account about 3 days after I first signed up so it was still during the free trial.
Also, just a thought for those members it didn't credit for...It may be helpful to actually sign into the stamps.com website after the initial registration though. That's what I did. I filled out the registration info and then later on the same day I went back to the website and signed in to view my account (that $5 in free postage was a nice bonus too!).
HTH!

No, Kristab773 is correct. When I saw the charge for a monthly fee, I called the phone number associated with the account and I was told that it is just a  "check" process to make sure they were given an actual account/card number, so that if you do continue, they can charge for your account.
The next day, the charge/hold was reversed. Many of these trials are like that- make sure you have the $$$ to cover the amount for a few days anyway. :angel11:

Has this been worked out? I never got credited and I genuinely was interested in the service, I used it the full trial but found I didn't ship as much to justify the cost. Am I just SOL or is there a chance I could get credit? Its been several months since I requested credit from FC. Thanks. Aaron
