As anyone ever tried online grocery shopping?

No, I like shopping in the store, to see exactly what I am getting, I would not trust my food online, or shipped like that, I like shopping and love getting a good deal, just don't bring spouse and kids, cost extra every time. lol.

This service is great for people who cannot get out to easily.  I cannot see paying a delivery charge for something I can do myself.  I know of some people who use Amazon for regular staples and have them shipped on a schedule.  They never have to worry about running out and do not have to lug home bulky packages.  Shipping is free for over $25.00.

I have never done this, but would be willing to try it one time to see what it is like.  U know what they say, dont knock it till u try it.  I work around food all day, the supermarket is the last place I want to go.

When my car was down for the count, I bought from Amazon and Meijer. They were lifesavers.

I know on the west coast Albertson's and Vons does it. Looks like amazon does it too from the posts on here...never tried it though.

It's not available in my town. If it was I might use it if the weather was bad or I was sick, otherwise I like going to the store. Plus I like to check expiration dates before I buy.

My mom used to do online groceries for my brother.  He was stationed in hawaii and before he would come home from training she would buy him groceries and have them sent to the house.  So she loved it it was incredibley convenient.. also its a lot cheaper sometimes.

I have never done it.  I think it sounds like a great idea though!!  You can better budget your money and not buy other stuff you don't need.

I have never consider buying groceries online knowing the extra shipping charges that will incur. The situation depends whether you live in a rural area, a suburb or an urban city. I live in an urban city, so I would either consider public transportation or ride a bike to get by, or go on foot for exercise. If you don’t mind being stuck indoors the whole time, you can go ahead and try Amazon.com like other members have mentioned.

I haven't tried it but once I get a printer I will because when you do the online shopping it requires you to print something that you would have to take to the supermarket with proof that you purchased the goods.
