This is a pointless exchange of political power from people who should be more interested in catching true criminals and locking them up than seeing some young person ruin their lives by doing something as foolish as taking pictures of themselves to IMPRESS other people!

Kids now days have the means to send pictures over thier phones and whatever other gadgets.  Do you think if caught sending pictures (nude or semi nude) they should be labeled sex offenders and  have to register as such?  This would stay with them all thier lives.

 when i was a teen we had polaroids 

 it depends how they abuse ''sexting'' my husband and I started sexting to spice some things up in out intimacy and that doesn't make us sex offenders.

I think they should report themselves as sex offenders, because that looks real ridiculous.

i think its kinda funny how all of you "adults" are calling these teenagers imature, and ignorant who argue over the same cell phone that they sext with. but you guys start to argue over a website. just saying i think its funny

If sexting is just a bunch of "mumbo jumbo letters", so is saying something like "I hate Jews". It's just 9 letters, how could anyone get mad over it?
