I agree: There are very few jobs out there because few companies are hiring. The government does not want to pay any more unemployment. Think about about how you are going to survive!  What are going to do? How are going to solve your personal problems? Fusion Cash helps! Try to refer some new people you know...to make some extra money! Also, consider doing some arts and crafts at home to sell or start your own business.

Im on unemployment, never heard about them cutting off unemployment. That would suck. I've been looking for a job for bout 3 months now. No luck. I cant really apply for something too far away cause i dont got the money for gas. Its a vicious circle, you gotta have money to get to a job to make money, but you need a job to make money to spend money to make money...make sense anyone...  :D

I was laid off in 2009 after 20 years at the same job due to outsourcing to other countries.  I've worked as a temp in between then and now but then opted to go back to school under a TRA grant.  Last week I ran out of my last tier and was told I could maybe apply for another 20 weeks but I'm having a problem getting that filed.  TRA is supposed to kick in where UC runs out but no word on that either and getting someone on the phone is next to impossible.  I got a partial check of 167 dollars.  How is a person supposed to live when you have no spouse or other means of support and there aren't any jobs out there that pay enough to live on.  I can't get help of any kind either because I rolled my pension into an IRA for retirement and can't touch it without a hefty penalty until I'm 59 1/2.  The IRA isn't all that much but I guess they think you should spend what you've worked all your life to save for retirement before they will help you.  If I pull the IRA I would lose my unemployment and TRA benefits and also my schooling.  I'm one of the working class citizens who has done what they should to support myself and the government / economy is making it hard for me to survive.

My husband is not receiving because he was self employed and had to close business due to economy. My daughter is on it because injured and can't work yet.  I have my own home business so that no one can fire me or lay me off. I am so thankful to have my business and my pension from teaching 35 years. Sure the pension is nothing like those of the congressmen.  LOL
