Paid to Click
« on: February 21, 2010, 08:16:49 am »
My daily Paid to Click is back but I had some problems with it again today.  I also had problems with it yesterday.  The problem comes at the end when you are trying to get credited.  I did get credited both days but there is a problem at the end.  I assume that FC pulled it to correct the problem but it has not yet been corrected.  Maybe tomorrow.

Can you elaborate a little bit?  I just tested it on Firefox and IE and it worked fine in both.

Everything went fine until the very end.  I had problems with the very last post where you click on the last link and then you go back to refresh your status.  And you are told that your account is credited.  That did not happen.  Instead I went back to the original page where it says you have clicked on one page or something like that.  It was like I had never completed the paid to click.  And I would go through the whole thing again and still never get to "your account has been credited today".  However, upon checking my account, I did get credit.  This only began Saturday.  I never had a problem before.  I use Safari.  If I have the problem tomorrow, I will try it with Firefox.  Does my explanation make sense or help?  I am not very tech savvy.  And I do not always know the correct lingo to use.

i have a guess that it could have maybe been with the new implementation of the Beta Test they are doing.

This has been happening to me since Saturday as well. I use Firefox on a Linux system.

I think lray3152 is on to something, since this issue started at the same time the special offers launched. If that's the case, I'm sure it'll be sorted out soon.

I noticed this today, as well, but I checked my account before I "started over" and found that I had been credited.  Probably just a glich in the programming.
I didn't notice it on Saturday, but I usually check the account first after I've finished the final ad rather than click on the "check your status" button.

Thanks Mcdellaven.  It looks as though the problems arrived with the implementation and the members are starting to feel relief after it has been fully implemented.  Let us know what tomorrow brings to see if the problem is still continuing.

What's ironic is that the conversion rate on the paid to click offer has increased over the past few days, not decreased...

I just did my Paid to Click and had the same problem as Sunday.  I got to the "Refresh the Page To See Your Status" or something like that.  It should have said "Your Account Has Been Credited" but instead it brought me back to the beginning as though I had never clicked on any links -- as though I was just beginning Paid to Click.  It said "You Need to Click on Four etc etc etc"  However, I checked my account and I had been credited.   :dontknow:

It was changed from "you've already been credited" to "refresh the page to see your status" ... that's not a bug.

But when I click on "refresh your page".... , instead of getting "your account has been credited" which I had been getting, I now get sent back to the Paid to Click page which tells me that I have clicked on one site and I need to click on four.  And that I need to wait 160 something seconds ..    This only began happening on Saturday.  Until Saturday, I was getting "refresh your page" and when I did so, I was then informed that my account has been credited.  But, when it is all said and done, I am getting credited.  So if it is a bug, it is a bug that I can live with.  I will watch more carefully tomorrow.   I will do it again with Safari tomorrow and if it happens again, I will try Firefox on Wednesday just to see.

Mine does that too, but after you click on Refresh page, and the counter starts over, go to your Account page. When I do that it still credits.

Thank you kindly for the detailed explanation.

There was indeed a bug, and I believe I have finally fixed it for good.  Sorry to everyone that had troubles (but the bug shouldn't have prevented you from being credited).
