Hey, I've just created my PayPal account, but I'm not "Verified". Can I still make purchases online?

Get a credit card from your bank. Even if its just a debit card, use it. You'll then be verified :)

Most places will still allow but I would highly reccomend verifying it so you can hook it up to a bank. If you don't, you can't put any money into it unless you receieve it from ebay.

Yes,  you can but the process takes a bit longer.  Get verified.

I really don't like paypal because of its huge amounts of fees. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if certain banks don't jump on some sort of internet processing bandwagon and start offering some garbage service similar to it and start making even more money and try to be like paypal.

Getting verified definitely helps a lot.  I have used paypal for around 3 years and no problems.  eBay actually owns paypal which is a wonderful example of perfect synergy b/w 2 companies.  I would recommend payment for anyone looking for the 3rd party in dealing w/ transactions.

I have PayPal for everything online. The process to set up the account is vigorous, but the account is definitely a premium service type of account. Most of the time, I use it to make purchases online. I am also a seller on Half.com and Amazon which require that you have a verified account to start. I reccommend that you verify the account.
