What's up with the differently colored banners?

In the banners that many of the older members have, why are they different colors, and what do the colors mean?

I don't think the colors mean anything. When you click the refer friends link at the very bottom of the page, it gives you different options for your banner. You can choose what color you want and you will get the code to post it. That is how I found the banner and made mine. Hope this helps!

Up at the top, click on PROFILE,
Then on the left click on FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION,
Then about halfway down there will be SIGNATURE,
In that section it'll say 'Want to show off your earnings?',
and there'll be a dropdown box with various colors to choose from,
then you hit 'Replace Sig with FC Signature Banner',
and there you have it. ^_^

I have tried to change my color, but it doesn't seem to work.  When I click to get the code it sends me to a page that says something about the link doesn't work.  Is that right?  Does that happen to everyone else?

Yep, there it went.  I guess I just needed to complain about it! lol!
