i have an xbox 360 and i love it. the games are awesome but my favorite part is the netflix feature. we can instantly watch thousands of movies and tv shows right through the xbox. its so cool because i can watch a whole season of tv shows without waiting for netflix to mail me each individual disc, and without ever getting up to change the dvd.

i don't have a wii but i played one for the first time a few weeks ago and my 9 year old son and i really enjoyed it so i am thinking about buying one for our family soon. it just means i'll have to reallocate or game console set-up, considering we already have an xbox 360, a playstation 2, and a nintendo gamecube.

PS3s don't do this, while 360s have failure rates estimated to be between 23% and 54%.  That means nearly half of 360 owners will have their consoles fail.

Also, to anyone who gets their Box red-ringed, be sure to contact MS at 1-800-4MYXBOX and they'll have you a new or refurbished one sent back to you within a coupla weeks, even if it's been a few years since you initially purchased it. Very hassle free-- they even pay for shipping both ways.

ive had the ring of death twice. but microsoft has replaced it both times for free the second time they sent me a new 360 i told the guy over the phone that i will not buy the new xbox when it comes out lol

Ugh YLOD. Got it 3 days after I bought my first PS3. Seems like neither Sony nor Microsoft can make totally reliable consoles this gen.
