« on: January 30, 2010, 01:12:20 pm »
I am having trouble getting some of the offers to credit, I read a post here that said to do something with the cookies. how do I get to the options menu that lets me manage them? I know how to get into internet options but I cannot find anything about cookies, I am usign Internet Explorer if that makes a difference I don't know?

Download CCleaner and use it.
IE is a mess to manage cookies manually.

Hello to delete your cookies on Internet Explorer go to:

TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > GENERAL TAB > DELETE COOKIES

In the pop up DELETE COOKIES window select OK.

Though that will leave your cache intact and that's a bigger problem with getting credit than the cookies are.

if you're using ff you can use the clear recent history option to get to all that stuff.  might be worth a shot

Hello to delete your cookies on Internet Explorer go to:

TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > GENERAL TAB > DELETE COOKIES

In the pop up DELETE COOKIES window select OK.

In the same window that you see the DELETE COOKIES tab, there will also be a DELETE TEMPORARY and DELETE HISTORY.  Using all 3 tabs will remove much of the junk in your system.  (Unless you're using IE8 -- in which case, CCleaner works best.)
