Palin is an idiot

Everyone has their own opinions of course. But I would much rather have people voting who ask for facts before making a general statement that a person is an idiot. It shows that they are thinking, and trying to make an informed vote, rather than just going by feelings or by what other people say. Like everyone who followed the media like dumb sheep, and voted for Obama because it was an "historic" thing to do, even if he is taking this country down the quick road to socialism and ultimately communism. Of course,it is all right for Democrats to condemn someone as an idiot, without any other reasons than just because they don't follow the "party line."

I agree with you 100%. Americans need to take charge of their future, and if that means researching the person you are voting for, then do it. Vote for someone who will make REAL changes not just because he is black, but because you believe in that person's ability to preside over the country, and only after you have done your homework on that person. I have been in this country for 17 years and I have to say the country as it stands now is the worst I have ever seen it, and still going down hill fast. I think it is sad that America is no longer the great country it used to be, and we only have ourselves to blame.

George W. Bush was considered to be a joke and an embarrassment to have as a representative for our country?    WHAT about the president that couldn't keep his pants on and wants to return to the White House with his wife as the mrs. president?  Isn't he what would be called a joke and an embarrassment?  The jokes are STILL circulating about him.  Why wasn't he impeached?

Because it was a matter of personal affairs. Granted he lied over it but he manned up to it. His wife forgave him. Leaders have done this throughout history. Clinton made several other bad manuevers you know. Do you know of any? Or are you going to use that one "TMZ Moment" as your impeachment quota?

There are moral problems with this statement-- you're putting having an affair as a more embarrassing issue than selling weaponry to unstable nations and getting thousands of people killed. Sounds like the typical american mindset I suppose-- violence is okay but sex is horrifying.

I'm reminded of a bumper sticker I once saw showing Bush behind bars--
"When Clinton lied, no one died"

I'm not glorifying Bill when he was president. I'm just saying the media span out of control with it when that issue was a personal affair (which is typical). Even though it was a red flag to every super-conservative american, historically it was nothing new.
