Avoid Pre-Paid Credit Cards
« on: January 21, 2010, 04:56:16 pm »
I signed up for the Acheive Card to have my fusioncash cashouts to go to -- I found out there is a $9.95 fee for the FIRST deposit (which they did refund after I called and complained) and then I was told that there is also a monthly fee of $9.95 --- I am going to STOP this payment type and begin direct deposit into my account.

as is with anything, when you group too many of something together you can miss a good thing

i used to use greendot pre-paid visa, but it has too high monthly fee, so i investigate and find my savior !!

netspend
$0.00 monthly fees
$3.95 upload fee (can be avoided if you add external account with your bank account)
$1.00 per transaction fee

so I can upload money via my bank account for free with only $1.00 per transaction when I use the card to purchase, which is really nice

no monthly inactivity fee, which means you can go 2-3 months with no activity

there is also over-draft protection, i have need just an extra dollar or two and if i am short, the card covers the little extra and simply adds a negative balance ($2.00) for example until you upload again with no penalties !! i don't abuse this feature

to show you how much i trust this card i will show you my stats, i have used it for 1 year exactly as of 1-19-2010. they send me a congratz LOL

i have used this card for dozens of paid offers on GPT sites and have made probably over $100 with those offers because of this card !!

It has a great referral program also, if you refer a friend, you both get $5.00 !!

Get a netspend pre-paid card, let me know.
I'll invite you and we'll both get $5.00
Use referral code 4899716965

I tried to use my paypal account but apparently I have the wrong type of account.... it wouldn't accept it.  I will have to try to figure that one out.

I think I once received a NetSpend account and didn't use it..... I am likely not eligible for your referral though ---

I use PayPal all the way.  I have used PayPal for years with my eBay business.  To answer the question above, I belive you have to have a Premier account for it to work here and you must also be verified.

I have my own debit card with PayPal and it's nice to use for my "play" money or for when I am in a pinch.

i really don't like promoting big companies because they get free advertising to grow their business from me lol

BUT

netspend is def an awesome card and i posted the stats below.

there are actually more options for big spenders to reduce the already minimal fees by subscribing to a plan.

remember no monthly fees, no monthly inactivity fees, no upload fee if you add your bank and that only leaves $1.00 per outgoing transaction and 99% of the merchants accept it.

There were a couple of pre-paid trial offers i couldn't do with this card, but it was the site I was doing the offer on and not the card because I had already done those offers on a different site.

Nope, your PayPal account doesn't have to be Business or Premier to receive payments from FC. However, it needs to be VERIFIED

I've used my Personal PayPal account with FC on my first cashout and gotten my money a day before the official pay day.

So, if you're wanting to use your PayPal, do make sure that it's verified before putting your email address.
