Yes lots of times. I believe we all human do this in order to prevent from  ???being hurt again.

If I did, then it's blocked out, so I couldn't say for sure.

   Yes, traumatic events. I think about them only once...then blocked them out of my mind. It is just too painful to keep them in my mind forever!

Some yes- others I wish I could. They come back to haunt when I can't sleep at night.

Yes, I have done that many times to preserve my sanity.  Too much trauma can cause you to block things in order to deal with your  life and situations.

Yes, it is a coping mechanism that some people use to deal with a very traumatic situation that they have had to endure!

Yes, and if i am lucky it will never pop into memory.  Its not something i "did" it was something my brain did for me.
