Kids Say the Darnest Things
« on: January 09, 2010, 02:10:01 pm »
:)  OK... so previously i have shared a few stories of my 2 year old that just make a person laugh...

well....today there was another --
we are working on potty training (a whole other topic), but this morning I said "let's go potty on the toilet like a big boy" and he so seriously looked at me and said "No mommy I'm pooping right now"

He was really going potty in his pants -- how on earth I will get him to realize it is more comfortable/clean to use the toilet I don't know yet.

Anyone else have fun kid stories?

 8) I think 'you have a seriours problem'...with your kid!...at least that is my opinion! Teach your kids early in life how important it is to a use a toilet. No kidding!

when my nice was about 4 i took her to the grocery store with me (I was only a teenager myself).  Someone had been cleaning the floors with pinesol .... she said very loudly .... it smells like someone sh*t a christmas tree in here!
I could have died right there laughing..... but also embarrassed.

ok... new one.
tonight my son (2 1/2 yr old) went for a bike ride to the park.  the neighbor was out with her two dogs.  I asked my son if he wanted a puppy and he said "i want a sister"

My husband isn't keen on having another baby yet, so i have been trying to get my son to ask for a sibling to pull at his heart strings --- I guess it is working.  :)

my son just saw the computer screen and looked at the smiling face that is waving and he is waving at my laptop right now saying "HI everyone"

During the doctor visit and the Pedia came in, my daughter asked "Daddy, what's that smell? It's yucky!" oh my god! how will I explain that it's her (doctor) perfume :)

My wife asked our 4 year old daughter to come and wake me up the other morning, so she climbs up onto our bed and says:

"Wake-up daddy, You can stop dreaming of me I am right here"

My 4yr. old son, at the time, just recieved a new 2 wheeler bike for his birthday, he didn't understand why he needed training wheels. So I explained to him that he needed to develop his balance on the bike before they were removed.  A few days later he saw a commercial for kids vitamins, and he heard the part about "take for a daily "BALANCED" diet".  Then told me that he needed a vitamin because "vitamins give you balance" so i gave him a vitamin, the training wheels were removed immediatly and he rode the bike.
