Internet marketing has always been an important portion of marketing for large and small companies in the past. This will true for the the future as well. As far as it being the sole method of marketing, I have to disagree.
Businesses receive local support quite tremendously in my town so the local marketing such as magazines, newspaper, mail, and direct sales are still in place.
Personally,  go online more than 9 hours a day and the places I spent more money at are still local markets. I still read the junks that are stuffed in the mailbox to find deals and bargains. For me it's like keeping up with the Supermarkets
The only time when I decide to go outside of the local market is when they don't offer the products I am seeking. Some other rare occasions, I'm just looking for a sweeter deal online, but necessary for ads.
