roach infestation..
« on: January 04, 2010, 11:56:03 am »
Unbelieveable I'm so nervous I hate to have to come into this house... I have a friend who have roaches and they are rude if I am not watching my cup I can possibly find me one or two..she's really cool and I have nothing against how she keeps her house but these roaches belong in a zoo.I think I better hurry up and leave before 1 climbs into my shoe. I got some stuff I seen at the store said it kills everything.  but some how this  stuff doesn't affect her roaches  cuz everyday they are back like they've multiplied times two.. Oh me oh my..now what do I do.
They walk across her ceiling I sit still praying they keep moving I pretend to want something out of another room because I'm to nervous to stay in my seat because if my eyes were to follow it then that would be rude of me.      Sometimes I look stare off  into a corner as thou I'm deep in thought but the only thing I keep thinking bout is this  one minute I seen it then.. the next minute its gone this girls roach infestation is over whelming I can't stop being her friend.but if a roach lands on my butt it will be a long time before she'd see me here again.

Thats just a little too much roach!

if they are walking by while you are there and there's light, then that's their home.  I've actually experienced with roaches when i was a kid but i would see them as soon as i turned the light on, then they would start hiding.

Have you ever seen a white one?

I can understand how you feel but I can't help but think that it is a lil rude to be talking about her in a public forum. Maybe this is something you should talk to her about instead of making it public she might be embarrassed to find that you are discussing her problem with strangers.

Has she tried using the COMBAT ROACH GEL it comes in a syringe type thing?

Once roaches are this well established, you almost have to get an exterminator. Boric acid reduces the problom if you scatter it on the floor around the perimeter of each room. If there are pets or children, of course, you can't do this. I would suggest that you stop visiting your friend's roach motel until she fixes her problem; otherwise, her little friends will hitch a ride in your pockets  and you'll be battling bugs at your own place. Meet her at Starbucks, for God's sake.

Why don't you tell her in a kind way how she can possibly get rid of these roaches.  The friend can't be blind to those horrible things crawling around her house.  Roaches really makes my skin crawl.  There are a lot of products out there to get rid of roaches, therefore there is no excuse to have the creepy crawlies being uninvited guests in her home.

Yea, its better to tell friends how you feel if you are feeling uncomfortable, they are eventually going to appreciate it because you are being honest with them.

Exactly my point I rather hear the truth about something embarrassing from some one I know cares about me.

I know how bad they can get, my greatgrandmother owned a rental house and when she had rented one apartment to someone, it was like instantaneous.  the exterminator had to come in after she evicted them and pretty much use a toxic bomb in the building to clear them out almost entirely.

Unfortunately as you use different killers, you will notice that over time they become less effective even with new doses put out.  that is because as they breed, they start to become immune to the killer.

The only thing worse than an infestation, is hearing any type of bug moving in the dark.  :crybaby2:
I'd be hiding in a metal box. :-X
