« on: January 03, 2010, 06:02:46 am »
2009 was a very stressful year for many.  2010 IS going to be YOUR YEAR!  Share your favorite way to "de-stress" and help others have a stress-less year!!   :D

Exercise works for me. Also listening to musicly loudly but more on the heavy rock side.

The way I destress, as it is stated above, I love to exercise.  It brings you to a different place, you can do a lot of thinking or simply run to release the stress.  Also, I love to just take a hot shower and relieve the tension built all around me.  Then I love to drink green tea, watch a funny show or read an insightful book.

Nothing really seems to work for me anymore. Epsom salt in a bath of hot water, I just soak and think of all my problems. Bought some Stress Relief stuff from Bath&Body, after Christmas sale, smells good, but doesn't help. Can't really concentrate on a book, TV or music. It seems like I can de-stress and relax my body sometimes, but I cannot turn off my brain. It just keeps going over everything that I have to do.

My favorite way to de-stress is to take a long brisk walk.  If that does not work go shopping, that always works for me. ;)

I like to watch a movie, or listen to an audio book, or sleep. If I had friends, drinking with them would be fun also

The best way to get de-stressed is; wanting to get de-stressed. Once u hv that want in u, then just go out of the building feel some fresh air... listen to some light music which u enjoy... sip on a coffe or eat ice cream... basically start pampering urself... Go shoppin... shoppin will definitely makes me feel happy... especially when i buy something for myself :)

I actually like to clean and throw out stuff, re-organize so I don't lose things.  Nothing feels better than tossing out some old junk that has just been taking up space.
