Stopping the caffiene addiction is soo hard! I've stopped and resumed so many times. My biggest thing were the energy drinks! I quit buying those but it took awhile. I actually signed up for the zizazz free tiral and anxious to try it out. Overall where I am now is only two pops a day or two cups of coffee. It's definitley a battle and one of my 2010 goals is to be caffiene free! You mentioned drink tea, do you reccomend any flavors? I've never been a huge tea fan but willing to try some different drinks.

I think green tea would be the best bet. it gives you an energy boost so you really wont need the caffeine from the soda or coffee. I Like chamomile tea and mint together with Linden tea. It makes for a very relaxing drink.

Pop is one of the worst things you can have health wise. Stay off food late at night (after 7) and no pop or coffee or any carbonated drinks. Drink water!

Some caffeine is actually good for you health wise.  The energy drinks probably contain too much caffeine.  The main thing to worry about caffeine is to not overdo it.  It becomes a problem when we overdo certain things.  I do not drink much soda, only once in a while if I eat out or if I get the 12 packs for less than a dollar once in a while with a deal.  I need to not eat after 7:00 also.  But is has been my habit for years to sit down around 9:30 or so with a glass of milk and a piece of cake/cookies to enjoy with my tv watching for the night.
