Can I use Linux?
« on: December 26, 2009, 11:57:24 am »
I was wondering if I could use Linux as my OS on my computer when I do offers, and would they credit. Has anyone ever tried another OS besides Windows?

Yeah, Linux works in most cases. I won't swear it always works, but it's fine in general.

I run Linux, and offers credit about as frequently for me as they do for most Windows users. Only ones you'd not be able to do are offers that require you to download something, unless you use a Windows computer or have virtual Windows installed.

I don't usually download anything, because I'm afraid of getting viruses or causing my computer to malfunction. I could probably use my flash drive if I wanted to download songs and documents. Thanks for the reassurance.

Firefox works on linux, and firefox and the internet are best pals, so yeah. you're good to go.

-Also if you need to download windows software to complete the offer you can use WINE.

I don't think it would matter, offers typically credit on anything and everything with a little variance here and there.
