Pre-Paid Visa?

JW Does anyone here use prepaid visa? or something in the pre-paid credit/debit card category?

yes i do , every month i put my bill money on it and then call in all my bills, very convienint if you dont have a band credit card..

Yes. I've used prepaid visa cards a few times to purchase things online.

No I don't.  But for people that don't have good credit or a bank account I guess they are good.  Just read all of the details with the card,
because I have heard that there are many hidden charges and/or fees.

Yes I have a few different prepaid credit cards. They come in handy when paying bills online or over the phone

i have one with netspend and it works out fine for me.

yes i have a netspend it is great i love my pre paid card. No banks to deal with no over draft fees if you don't have the money it won't go through and with direct deposit we get paid on wednesday's instead of fridays so that is awesome plus i have a susan g komen breast cancer card that has a little donated to the research for the cure

I never thought of that!  Sounds like a good idea to me.  Where do I get one?  Which companies are the best?  Do you have to pay an annual fee or a set up fee?  Does it help my credit score?

I used to until I realized how much I was being charged just to use it.  I was being charged to load money, get money off of it, I was being charged everytime I used it.
