Well it depends...

Do I know *EXACTLY* where this island is?  Could I tell people how to find us to rescue us?  If so, I'd use the phone for that.

If I couldn't tell them where I was, how far am I from the mainland?  If I'm so far from mainland that I'm more likely to die trying to get back, I'd shoot myself.

If I didn't know how far I was, I'd want the person next to me to be a sexy woman with a strong sex drive.  I'd have sex several times a day until we starved to death.  When one of us died, the survivor would shoot themselves.
