Mommy's pull-up (a funny story)
« on: November 29, 2009, 11:12:25 am »
I will share my embarassing mommy moment.
I have a 2 year old -- he is in the process of potty training and so we are switching between diapers and pull-ups.... well he loves carrying his blanket around but one day I noticed he grabbed for his blanket out of the laundry basket and grabbed a silk pair of panties instead. he would NOT give them up -- he was carrying them around proudly proclaiming "Mommy's pull up" -- I was mortified and insisted that he never walk out of the house with my "pull-up" in his hands.

That's cute. As adults, we know it's an embarrassing moment, but they don't. Tiny tots at that age are loads of fun. They are eager to learn, eager to explore, they grow fast, and they play and run around a lot. Thanks for sharing.  :D

That is so funny. It sounds like something my one year old would do. Leave it to the kids to make you laugh so hard you cry.

lol that is so funny.  At least you can just explain it away because he is just a kid, so it might be embarrassing but of course it is funny, and you can tell that story one day and embarrass him in front of a girlfriend lol!

My brother brought his 2 year old son over earlier and he had bought him a happy meal. All he wanted was his giant stuffed spongebob. Everyone 2 seconds he'd chant " spongebob, spongebob ". Finally someone handed It to him and he was fine then.

That is so cute.  You never know what they are going to do at that age.  My son is 4 and he loves satin blankets and of course he discovered the satin panties in the laundry basket.  I know how you feel.

That's funny my son who will be 2 in February loves to drag laundry around the house especially socks he will walk up to you with a handful of dirty or clean "sots" and hand them to you so very proud of himself.  Kids are so funny the things that they do they just love knowledge and they thirst for it it is so great.  He is in the process of mastering counting to ten, kids are so wonderful.

It was just a pair of underwear, and so long as it was clean and not extremely erotic, I wouldn't care if the kid went out with it. If anything, you could post a youtube video of the kid dancing around with them ^^.
