 ???

on Tellwut today:

Life at Sea Cruises is selling places on board the MV Gemini, which sets sail from Istanbul on November 1, 2023 on a 3 year epic global journey that will take in most of the planet’s prime cruising destinations. In total, the MV Gemini will stop at 375 ports over its three-year voyage, with 208 of these including overnight stays. The ship will stop everywhere from India to China to the Maldives to Australia, with some multi-night stopovers. The cheapest rooms on the MV Gemini cost around $30,000 per year, including a discount for solo travelers. -CNN Travel

I love cruising, but don't think I would like to be on a ship for 3 years.  The price is not bad when you think about the fact that this is your place to stay and the food is included.

Especially with the quarantines that cruises are in the news about lately with the new Covid Variant scaring people!

I saw this on TellWut also. Money wise not a bad deal but 3 years is a long time.  :turkey:

I get motion sickness, so I couldn't do that.

I have heard that very few people have seasickness during cruises on ocean liners. I don't have the problem but that's what I've heard.

Personally, I've been on a cruise and I did not enjoy it at all. It was not seasickness that turned me off. I just didn't enjoy any part of it. To me, it's just hype. The price of the original cruise was exorbitant and there were always zillions of reasons to have more money extracted from me while onboard.

I know lots of people dig cruises. Don't mean to be a downer about it, but that's my experience.  :P

30,000 Dollars is a large number that perhaps the avatar game will never reach. If you are free, come and support.
