Lot of sickness Going around.

I just got out of the Hospital last night after my CAT Scan showed both Covid 19 and Pneumonia at the same time and I stayed a week to get my recovery going. Now they are sending me home with MT Visits and Meds plus visits from my Doctor on Zoom to continue about 21 more days. It's a new program to help ruduce Hostital overcrowding and EMT Shortages. It is helping me already.   

So sorry to hear you are going through this right now at the holidays,  it seems every cold and flu symptom escalates to the "Covid" scare.  Please get well soon!

My spouse went to Florida for a week in September and brought Covid back to NY.

It was my first time getting it and my son also got it.

With me it started out 101 fever and aches.Then i got a sore throat that developed into a cough.The cough was weird.I wouldnt cough all day and then at night get 20/30 minute cough sprees.

The thing that got me the most is i lost my appetite to eat and i couldnt taste food normally.That lasted about a week or so.I lost 10 LBs and since then i gained it back as appetite returned.

I have never been vaccinated.My spouse had both vaccinations and caught Covid twice now.

Im still big on trying to keep immune system strong and maskings as well as avoiding crowds.

Just another sign of the times in this glum world.

SO glad to hear you are dong better.  We have been using the zoom doctor and visits from some of the specialty guys for a while.  We brought my 90 year old mother home and are doing the same type of things, zoom calls, pt and others coming by fo visits.

We've been sick here too. Don't know what it is, but we're finally beating it.

It seems like since the covid pandemic, we all were so careful and now are making up for it with every illness that comes along.  We just did not get exposed for a couple of years to all the regular viruses and now are having to rebuild our immunity systems.

I just know it feels great after all the older folks I hear about dying in hospitals and rest homes all over the country and here I am sitting back in front of my computer at home again. When they sent me home I was told to get some Robutusion DF cough sirup and could not find any. The soonest I could get it from Amazon was the end of January, so I ordered some generic from them for pennies on the dollar and it is making a huge difference. My cough is almost all gone and I am sleeping for hours day and night. I think I am going to win this fight. Thanks for all your support.

Old Buddy,what is the specific name of the generic cough medicine you are taking.My spouse has a cough at times and id like to see if it might help.
