Does any one know of a good Pestiside Company? We are having trouble with field mice and we need good help. We live in the country and they are a big problem here.

We used to have a problem until we got a cat by accident (feral) who invited a couple more. We don't have mice, voles, chipmunks or squirrels anymore. They are now cleaning out the neighbor's yards.  :)

One word . . . pesticide; not pestiside.

BTW, we've been having lots of mice. Our cat catches some of them :cat: but we also buy the little traps that you put food in that keeps them alive inside till you dispose of them, and the traps that have holes in them and contain them till you throw the trap away. It's helping.

I think they're trying to get out of the cold into someplace warm, but there sure are a lot of them this year.

Well, I think you can find specialists who provide stump removal or grinding services. Have you considered this option? I found Stump grinding services in Enfield, CT on this Source and I think it's a really great option for you. Thanks to this, some passages for mice were closed and, in principle, it showed which passages they walked, so it became easier to find nests and fight rodents.

We were having problems until we got a new roof put on.  They blocked all the upper ways they were getting in, and the cats got the ones in the lower areas.  They can be a nightmare to get rid of. and gives you the creeps when you hear them scurrying around.

We have a mouser cat in the house who caught one yesterday in the kitchen. I always let him play with/kill it on his own rather than try to take it away from him. He is sometimes very timid and runs and hides when I've taken mice away in the past - like he thinks he did something bad. I never want him to associate mouse catching as a punishable offense. Well the cat disappeared to somewhere in the house while I was watching football and I was the only one home most of the day. Last night he showed back up again, but the mouse did not. So someplace in the house, probably tucked away somewhere that we can't easily access - there is a dead or severely wounded mouse. I suppose we will know where it is once the smell gets bad enough!

Ugh!
