Cell Phones

I like to get a new cell phone every two years. I love all of the new styles. How about you?

nah, we are "cheap". I hate buying a new phone. I stayed with a flip phone until I pretty much HAD to change. Now, I do have a smart phone since I have a home business and need it. But honestly, we try not to spend more than $100-$150 on a basic phone and use Total Wireless as our no contract company. I feel like it is a necessary evil. I can't stand watching people stare at their phones and ignoring others around them. Or watching parents hand their 2 yr. old a phone to entertain them. I am old fashioned but come on. I entertained my child without a screen at all. It can be done. Those that spend hundreds of dollars or even $1000 on a phone are (in my opinion) crazy.

I buy a $100 Motorola about every 6 or 7 years and run it with Ting for $30 for both my wife and I and it works fine.

We also get a new phone every 2 or 3 years, after the current phone has been paid for.  We start having small problems about the time our contract is up.
