The word faith is described in the bible.

“Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.”—Hebrews 11:1.

So how does an atheist have faith that God doesnt exist?

Is he hoping for that?

What is the evident demonstration of realities that show that, even tho they arent beheld?

An atheist would look a lot better if he just said, 'yes i know a TRUE God exists.Im just NOT interested in him or his commands.'

He might even get judged more favorably by God if God saw in his heart his ignorance overwhelmed his thinking.

This may seem contradictory, but it is the best way I can attempt to explain it. I do not "believe in God" but instead I know that God exists.

Excellent response I must say, UGetPaid.

James 2:19
New International Version
19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
