« on: November 29, 2020, 05:06:10 pm »
this is for homemade banana bread.  you will need
3 ripe bananas
2 cups all purpose flour
2 sticks butter  (softened)
1 tspn salt
2 tspns baking soda
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs  (beaten)
in a large bowl  mash 3 ripe bananas. put aside.
in another bowl  sift 2 cups of flour , 2 tspns baking soda, and 1 tspn
salt. put aside.  in another bowl cream together 2 sticks of
butter or 2 cups butter  and 2 cups sugar. add in
mashed bananas and mix with wooden spoon. add in 4 beaten eggs
and mix well.  pour wet ingredients over flour mixture
and fold until just mixed.  grease and flour 2 loaf pans and put half of mix
in each pan. preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for
60-70 minutes.  let sit 5 minutes and turn upside down on bakers rack.
let cool for 2 hours and wrap in aluminum foil to
keep banana bread moist.

I think I have tried that recipe before and it came out great. Banana bread is one of my favorite things to bake because it is easy and always comes out good.

Thanks for sharing this recipe.  It looks so simple to make.  I love banana bread and also love it with nuts too.  I am going to make this one day.

My plans were to make banana bread this morning, but time flew by, so perhaps another day.
